Breathe in...Breathe out...
ONE MORE TIME...
Breathe in...Breathe out...
Okay, we get it! It's frustrating, it's not fair, why me and when will it end?!?! We are in a time of uncertainty and not being aware is one of the most frustrating thing for any human being. So trust us when we say, it's okay to feel the way you do.
Although we are in our feelings (again it's okay), we wanted to provide our followers with a few steps when rescheduling during quarantine.
1. Think of the positives! If you felt like things were moving too fast or even to slow, this is the time to create the perfect event. Shop online for those small details to make sure your event is exactly how you envisioned. For our engaged couples, start creating those Welcome Bags for all of your out of town guests. A few couples tend to overlook this perfect gift but trust us, your guests will truly appreciate you even more.
2. SAVE, SAVE, SAVE! I know when planning your event, it may have felt like all your money was just, GONE!
Yes, theses days were traumatic but now we really don't have an excuse to no longer be saving. Use this time wisely! Make budget sheets, see exactly where your finances are going and how much more you can put into your event.
3. If your current vendor cannot accommodate the new date, it is time to hunt. Maybe they have another trusted vendor that can be of service to you. You have some more time to switch things around and have a second chance at greatness. Maybe this time you will get a better price !
4. Are you over the madness and it has become too much work? Hire an event planner/ day of coordinator. The event planner can help find the vendors for you, replan details, make a new schedule, contact vendors, help with reorganizing guest lists, seating charts, hotel
accommodations and more. The day of coordinator executes your time line. They follow up with bridal party, vendors, and guests. They make sure you are sticking to your schedule so your day gets the best bang for its buck. You are not distracted by the little details, you can actually enjoy it.
As the world seems as if it is paused, we understand that the events we had planned have to be postponed. Weddings, birthdays, and other special events. As if planning them the first time wasn’t stressful enough. We understand the frustration and want you to know that we are here for you. If you need a planner to fix the situation or just be there for the day of coordinating, we are the one's for you. We treat our clients like family, (not the crazy side), and want to help you make your day a dream come true. We hope these tips have helped you.
Stay safe.
Know that you've got this and we've got you.
